Pirkka Challenge!

John 'Pirkka' Karlson, Finnish born rally driver sponsored by Auto23 has over slept! In the flash game Pirkka Challenge! you take the role of Pirkka as he gets in his car at the Bergen pier with little time to reach the race start just outside town. You must drive well and efficient in order to get there, and still observe rules and regulations on the roads through the city. It may be tempting to use the in buildt nitro en route, or to cross a red light or two, but the vigiliant Bergen city police department lurks around every corner, breaking the law never ever pays of. If you get there in time the challenge has just begun.

The game was developed by Turbo Tape Games in cooperation with Neolab, with whom we share office space here at Pixelpark. The game is unique in the scale of the flash level size, for which we had to generate a brand new loader routine.

Along the route of Pirkka Challenge! you encounter an imaginative and twisted, yet strangely recognizable, perspective on the city of Bergen. The final race is set in the rododendron garden constructed by Auto23 alongside their main offices.
