Nourishment experience

On November 5th 2009, after close to two years in the development, the unique and extraordinary nourishment experiment interactive glass sculpture was opened at the Bergen Science Centre VilVite by city councillor for health Christine Meyer. The experiment is designed to teach visitors about the human digestive system, the digestive processed in the inner organs and the effects of nutritious substances on our physiology as a whole. One starts by 'dragging' a meal to the mouth of a sculpture, and manually digest the substances aided by intricate LED light paths and an encyclopaedia of multimedia information about organs, processes and nutrients.

The development has been led by Turbo Tape Games from vision to complete installation with great aid from the University of Bergen Institute of Inner Medicine and the glass artist community S12 Galleries. The result is a stunning attractive and unique educational computerized pedagogical game with a real size art sculpture as interactive display.
